Prayer Page

 The S.E.M prayer team gets together every evening and prays over these requests, because we believe that prayer changes things. This is the confidence that we have in him that if we ask according to his will, he hears us, and we know that if he hears, then we have the petition we ask of him. We firmly believe that God hears and answers prayer, his eyes are over the righteous and his ears are open unto their cries. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much! Feel free to share your requests with us and we will help you pray. Mark 11: 22-24 have faith in God (God-like faith, quite literally "The faith of God) for verily (truly) I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed and be cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but believe that those things which he says shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he said. Therefore I say unto you what things soever you desire (your wants as well as the things you would need), when you pray, believe that you should recieve them, and you shall have them.

Please allow me to tell you that this is the same faith that Abraham (the Father of the faithful) had. Romans 4: 16-18 the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, (as it is written, I have made you a father of many Nations) before him whom he believed, even God who quickens the dead and calls thiose things which are not as though they were (as though they have already happened!) Who against hope, believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken.

James 2: 20-26 but wilt thou know (do you want to know?), O' vain man that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son upon the alter? See how faith wrought with works and by works faith was made perfect? And so was the scripture fulfilled which said, "Abraham believed God, and it was imputed (counted to his credit) unto him for righteousness", and he was called "the friend of God" So now you can see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. Likewise also was not Rahab "the harlot" justfied by works when she recieved the messengers, and had sent them out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

James 1: 5-8 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God that gives to all men liberally and upbraideth not (He does not withold any good thing from us) and it shall be given him, but let him ask in faith nothing waivering. For he that waivers is like the wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed (tossed to and fro with every wave of the sea) let not that man (one who doubts in his heart) think that he should recieve anything from the Lord. A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways!

2008

*Please be in prayer about this...There is shock and sadness in the Christian community over word that famed Christian music singer Ray Boltz has publicly announced he’s living a homosexual lifestyle.
"If this is the way God made me, then this is the way I’m going to live...I really feel closer to God because I no longer hate myself." Those were the words of Ray Boltz in an interview with the Washington Blade about his decision to engage in homosexuality. Boltz, a father of four who was married for 33 years before officially divorcing his wife this year, is well-known for his widely acclaimed songs "Thank You" and "I Pledge Allegiance to the Lamb."

*Please be in prayer for the Thomas Fulton family, brother and Evangelist Thomas Fulton was critically injured in a car accident...also be in prayer for his dear wife Alice, we love you all and are praying for you.

*Please be in prayer for your servant, they have me off from work trying to run some extensive tests to find out whether or not they can find cancer...I speak against all of that in Jesus Name!

* please be in prayer for the Worley family who has lost a sister-in-law, they have just returned from Nashville where they attended the funeral.

*Christian for a kidney infection. (update 4/6/08) Praise report...Christian is doing so much better, the doctors did not find any blood in his urine and no sign of sickle-cell! Thank you Lord Jesus!
*Topping the prayer list for this month is my 2 year old granddaughter who has suffered a terrible fireworks accident and received 2nd and 3rd degree burns over 75% of her little body L please be in prayer also for my ex-wife Sue who was holding the baby at the time they will both undergo skin graft surgery later on this month.
*let us remember Sister Shiela and her family she lost her aunt May.
*My Son Chad needs prayer, as well as my oldest granddaughter Cierra both had surgery this month. Chad had his nose re-broken and set, and poor Ciera had her tonsils and adenoids taken out and tubes put in her ears all in one surgery! Bless her heart…they were both side by side in the recovery room, it was quite an experience for sure! J
*Evangelist Jerry Brock who just had open heart surgery and is recovering well at home. It has been touch and go with brother Jerry but, he is still with us. Friday 7/10/ he will have to have his heart stopped and started again, to get it back into a normal rhythm pattern.
*Sister Dora who has been diagnosed with a tumor on one of her kidneys and it will have to be removed. The doctor told her husband Doug that if they can save the kidney they would…she goes for further tests this week. Update 7/08 Sister Dora has had the kidney removed because the tumor contained 100% cancer…she is recovering well from the surgery.
*My brother Raymond who will be having surgery April 15th. My brother Raymond has had some serious surgery on his neck (an old injury) and is bothering him quite a bit. Update: Ray is doing much better and wants to thank everyone who prayed for him.

*Leonard who is recovering from some outpatient surgery. Leonard made it through the surgery just fine, but still needs prayer for salvation, also please be in prayer sister Betty she is feeling some weakness in her body.
*Steven-salvation and that he would bring honor to his parents.
*Michael and Charlie that their prison sentence would come from the presence of the Lord.
Salvation for Jesse (sister Sheila's son) and her husband Carlos.
*Jimmy and Patty Clark...for salvation and James' foot which was partially amputated.
*Acton and Suzy...that they will do the right thing, salvation, healing, and deliverence!
*May's sister Janet Sue...they found some cancer cells in her lungs (small cell cancer) *Baby Hunter Sneed who has been through some brain surgery to remove some sort of cancer) Update...Baby Hunter is doing well and will be OK, thank you Jesus!
*Sister Clara Bell recovering from a stroke.
*Angel's boyfriend's mother.
*Chester Collins health and salvation issues (only one kidney and is getting dialysis treatment on it).
*Charlie and Family (New wife and new baby). Kaci and Kensie....Rick and Eugene and Chassidy for salvation
*Jennifer Crabtree and husband with baby
*Prayer for Mom Gibson she is suffering with a condition that the doctors say will eventually kill her. However we know that the doctors do not have the last say so in these matters. As for right now she is able to come to Church, but cannot sit for a long period of time. Please pray for a miracle on her behalf!
*Rosemary Goff (Phyllis' sister) who is facing another surgery for a tumor on her back, we are praying against any type of cancer. Update 12/05 the tumor on Rosemary’s back is a fatty tumor and it doesn’t have to be removed unless she requests it! Praise the good Lord! Rosemary is not doing well; she says she is tired and just wants to go home. Please pray that God will have his way in her life. (update 3/5/07) Rosemary may have lukemia please be in prayer about this.
*Danny Ray Jennings desires your prayers for a spot on his lung. Update 12/05 Danny is still suffering with his condition, however it is not cancer! They (The doctor’s) say that perhaps there is a rib out of place or maybe there is a possibility of an extra rib that has formed?
*Jerry Ranney in prison at the Little Sandy correctional complex Sandy Hook, KY.10.) Also Gregg Boggs imprisoned and needs our prayers. Pray for those that are in prisons, the Bible tells us to visit them whenever we can...Update Jerry has been released from prison and is already married to his wife Carrol. However please continue to pray for Greg.

2007

*Sister Ollie Faye, and Coty.
*Rankin Charlie's son needs salvation and healing in the name of Jesus.
*Bobby Alley is back in the hospital with carbon dioxide poisoning, and needs a pace maker put into his heart please keep him in your prayers. (update December 2006) Bobby went on to meet his reward, please pray for sister Betty as she learns to cope with her loss also for his children.
*Wanda Pierson; sister Dees sister needs our prayers they have given her a bad report on her health and if the Lord does not move they will lose her. We are so sorry about the loss of Dees sister and Brother. We have prayed many times for you. We can’t bring them back but we can go to them.
*Sweeny needs prayer.
*Wanda Wright; Paul and Tommy's half sister needs our prayer.
*James has cirrhosis of the liver and needs to be healed completely in Jesus name!
*We are currently praying for all of the husbands of the Sisters in our Church, won't you help us pray for Robert,Carlos, Frank, James, Harold, and one wife of a dear brother from our Church, Mary.
*Please remember little Felicia Phillips (5 years old) facing kidney surgery (the 18th of March)
* Please be in special prayer for Clark family, the Ball family, and the Garland families who all have had loved ones who have passed, (members of the ARC and precious)
*Praise Report! (3/07) we have had 8 people to rededicate their lives to Christ since the first of the year, we thank the Lord for the conviction power of the Holy Ghost working in our midst!!!
